The mission of the Public Relations Committee is to convey the professional image of open water lifeguards and heighten public awareness of the importance of lifesaving. Our goal is to identify specific challenges and provide effective, accurate and professional response to inquiries. In addition, the Public Relations Committee archives media related to lifesaving.
Public Relations Committee
The Public Relations Committee has established a new committee called "Social Media." This committee utilizes all types of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to promote CSLSA events. A goal is to promote professionalism in lifesaving and to extend the reach of the CSLSA by encouraging people to visit the website. The Social Media Committee will work closely with the Website Committee to establish their policies and procedures. Mr. Leeper volunteered to be the committee's first chairperson.
